Dental prophylaxis

Proper dental care, early detection and - where necessary - timely treatment are essential for the development and maintenance of healthy teeth and functional dentition. The dental service carries out examinations in kindergartens and schools, which should reach all children on a regular basis. The aim is to identify the need for treatment so that decayed teeth can be treated in good time and orthodontic findings can be treated in good time.

In addition to regular dental check-ups, the correct treatment of teeth (dental care and a healthy diet) must be learned and practiced. To this end, prophylaxis events with practical exercises are held in the facilities via the Dental Health Working Group (an association of health insurance companies, dental specialists from the public health department and practicing dentists).
