Offers KI Bochum

Educational offers of the KI-Bochum

The Municipal Integration Center Bochum offers a variety of measures and services with the aim of improving the educational opportunities of (newly) immigrated pupils.

The "Wegbereiter" municipal concept is intended to help improve their educational pathways. It provides a comprehensive overview of the approach and results of the projects implemented since 2017 and forms the basis for the continuation of projects and processes that have been developed and made visible since 2017. It forms the basis for transfer to schools and other municipalities.

You can find the Bochum concept here.

Language assessment test (consultation)

The KI Bochum provides assistance in applying for a language test (Feststellungsprüfung): newly immigrated pupils (so-called lateral entrants) at a general school or Berufskolleg and their teachers are supported in submitting an application to the district government to have the official language of their country of origin tested instead of a compulsory foreign language. This serves to obtain a school-leaving certificate.
