Measles protection
Measles is highly contagious and can be fatal in the worst cases. Vaccinations are important to combat the infectious disease effectively.
Where measles transmission can occur very quickly, proof of vaccination must be provided in accordance with Section 20 of the Infection Protection Act (IfSG). This applies, for example, when entering kindergarten or school.
Sufficient vaccination protection can be proven by means of a vaccination card, a vaccination certificate/vaccination documentation or a medical certificate.
The proof must be submitted to the facility (not to the health authority).
